Our Home Base
Bluestone Life chose Vermont as the location of our home office because it embodies many of the values we hold--innovation, community, and respect for nature.
We are located in the Hula Lakeside complex on the shores of Lake Champlain in Burlington, Vermont. It offers stunning natural beauty and is a thoughtfully designed and energy-efficient workspace. The campus is home to a vibrant community of mission-driven businesses and entrepreneurs, fostering the kind of collaboration and forward-thinking that inspires our work.
Our Founders Story
Nathan Irons founded Bluestone Life to transform life insurance into a force for social and environmental progress. After building several companies, he sought to create one that deeply aligned with his values and desire for systemic change.
By returning to Vermont, where he could reconnect with nature and spend more time with his family, Nathan laid the foundation for a mission-driven company rooted in sustainability and purpose. For Nathan, life insurance isn't just about financial protection—it's about using everyday financial decisions to create a meaningful and lasting impact.
