The Opportunity

Bluestone Life is seeking an Operations Manager to help scale our growing insurance business. This is a high-ownership, hands-on role for someone who enjoys building systems and improving processes. You will own the operational backbone of the business, while working closely with the CEO and President. If you enjoy playing a visible role in shaping how a company grows, this role offers a front-row seat.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage the full policy lifecycle, including carrier coordination, servicing, and compliance oversight.

  • Ensure policies, compliance, and systems run smoothly.

  • Help build, document, and continuously improve scalable workflows, SOPs, and internal processes.

  • Maintain internal systems (CRM, O365 ecosystem, etc.) to support efficient operations.

  • Support multi-state licensing, regulatory reporting, commissions, and premium tracking.

  • Support impact reporting and certifications such as B Corp and 1% for the Planet.

Who You Are

  • A mission-driven operations professional who enjoys building structure in a growing organization.

  • Licensed in life & health insurance with 5+ years of hands-on operations experience.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning processes end to end.

  • Knowledgeable in insurance licensing, compliance, and carrier operations.

  • Systems-minded, with experience improving workflows and documenting processes.

  • Clear communicator who works well with executives, carriers, and cross-functional partners.
